The Sylvankind Oracle is a 64 card deck featuring trees ranging from Ecuador to Australia, Botswana to Borneo.  Wherever you look, the bond humanity shares with these towering giants is profound. They nourish us with their fruit, purify the air we breathe, and cool our urban landscapes. We use their wood to build our homes and produce the paper that lines our books. They absorb and store the carbon we emit and their roots stabilize the earth during downpours.
 
Since time immemorial, cultures around the world have shared their lore of woodlands and the revered tree spirits who inhabit them. Many of our classic stories have been set against a forested backdrop full of magic and mystery.  We instinctively recognize trees as wisdom holders. It's our task to be receptive to their teachings.
 
The Sylvankind Oracle is divided into eight suits, with each suit made up of eight cards. The suits are each connected to a specific structure of a tree and a specific dimension of a human life. The artwork of each suit is unified by a different dominant color.

THE GUIDEBOOK
 
The full-color guidebook for this deck measures 5.5" x 8.5" and contains ~25000 words spread over 160 pages.  Each card entry in the guidebook includes a detailed write-up on the card meaning, description of the artwork, and information on the featured tree.  The guidebook is bursting with imagery, including full-page depictions of the card art along with accompanying pencil illustrations for each tree. The guidance in this book is direct and practical, while leaving plenty of room for personal interpretation.
 
THE BOX
The cards are held within a magnetic clamshell box made of sturdy paperboard.
